I love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change
Kickstarting the season is the uproarious musical “I love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change”, which garnered immense popularity during its run last July 2024. Due to overwhelming demand from Manila audiences, we are thrilled to announce a reprise of this production. Directed by the brilliant Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo, this quirky comedic musical by Joe DiPietro delves into the challenges and joys of human connection across various life stages. “I love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change” is a series of 20 vignettes featuring four actors, starring the talented ensemble of Gian Magdangal, Marvin Ong, Krystal Kane, and Gabby Padilla. Opening on February 20 and running through March 9, this musical received a remarkable 13 Gawad Buhay nominations and two Aliw award citations, including recognition for the best direction, best actors and best actresses in a musical.
ART

Next in our lineup is the award-winning play ART by Yasmina Reza, a comedic masterpiece that follows the intertwined lives of three friends whose long-standing bond is tested when one of them splurges on a pricey all-white painting. Set to open in June, REP is thrilled to welcome three exceptional actors to our stage: James Bradwell and Martin Sarreal, from the U.K.’s West end, and REP veteran, Red Conception, currently appearing in Broadways’ production “Chicago”. Directed by the esteemed Victor, Lirio, this production will run concurrently with the revolutionary Bridge Project (in July) – an innovative skills-exchange initiative, where artists from the UK, NYC, and Manila, collaborate to raise artistic standards internationally. The Bridge Project sessions, held at MINT College, are open to all, free of charge.
Alice In Wonderland
The excitement continues with RTYA’s (Repertory Theater for Young Audiences) Children’s Theater presentation of “Alice In Wonderland”, a fresh twist on the classic tale penned by Janet Yates Vogt and Mark Friedman. Under the direction of the talented Joy Virata, this magical production promises to enchant school children and families alike from August till the end of November. Get ready for a mesmerizing spectacle complete with captivating sets, costumes, and interactive elements such as audience participation, puppetry and ballet.
Peter And The Wolf
In October, REP joins forces with Ballet Philippines and the Manila Symphony Orchestra for a special performance of Sergei Prokofiev’s “Peter and the Wolf” to be held at the GSIS theater – a gift to the entire community, free of charge for a one-day performance only!
