The Rep season does wind down during the year, but we do not stop working to put on great work. Just because we’re resting, does not mean we are idle. We’re already planning for the next show.

The heart of the program of Repertory Philippines is its season of plays staged from February to May. Every year we successfully produce three very different plays to cater to the varying tastes of its audiences. These 3-season plays are the CORE of REP’s premiere status as a theatre company. It is through the staging of these three plays that REP not only hones but shows off the terrific acting abilities of our performers.
The Children’s Theater
REP stages one musical for young audiences from September to January. These musicals are always lavish productions with large casts of professional actors that cater to children, young audiences and families.
REP presents a big musical usually once a year, depending on the schedule of productions that are chosen. When produced, it is REP’s biggest production of the year, a musical with a huge cast, meticulous costumes, spectacular sets and a live orchestra.
Every year, from April through July, REP holds two and sometimes three sessions of six-week intensive courses in Performing Arts for all ages, 5 years old and above. We also include a Teen Masterclass and Adult Masterclass. The course culminates in a showcase per class held at REP’s OnStage Theater with full costumes, lights, music and sets. The Workshops focus on the triple-threat, training students in song, dance and acting, which is required for all students in drama.
REP maintains two groups of eight singers who are available for special after-dinner entertainment, product launches, or other corporate affairs. One group is composed of veteran, professional solo performers; the other, of talented, young, up-and-coming singers. The program features show-stopping performances of show-tune medleys arranged for solos, duets, and octets with simple choreography.
Select from our wide-ranging costume or props collection for your next production. For questions about pricing, kindly contact the REP office (contact info listed below). Costume and Prop rentals are by appointment only.
We encourage writers to submit scripts to REP. We look for well-written, well-constructed plays written in English, that celebrate the human spirit, speak to our diverse community and advance the art of theatre. REP would like to commit to developing new work and nurture new writers. These works will be reviewed by the Artistic Council and if proven worthy, produced in one of our many theatre creations, be it the Summer Workshop or even the Season. Please contact the Repertory Office for further inquiries.
Every year REP strives to contribute and give back to the community by presenting a free Children’s Show, in one of the Makati Malls. These shows are usually in collaboration with Ayala Land, and made possible by Grants from various foundations.
